This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Yesterday was Teacher Appreciation Day.
My week began with salad, barbecue sandwiches, and cookies for lunch on Monday. Tuesday brought a spread of everything under the sun.
And coupons for free meals at Zaxby’s Chicken Fingers and Buffalo Wings and Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers if you had room for any more “appreciation” in the form of food.
I’m hoping this morning brings a coupon for a free gym membership! 😊
Thursday we get a food truck. Your choice of burritos, tacos, or quesadillas. Yum! I love food trucks!
The lack of appreciation felt by our legislators a few weeks prior has certainly been made up for from our own school and community.
It’s good to feel appreciated.
Thank you to all! It is greatly appreciated.
Two, four, six, eight, who do you appreciate?
Who do you really appreciate?
A teacher, a friend, a relative, a co-worker, a service provider?
Don’t wait for a day or week to celebrate them! Tell them today! Tell them right now! Give them a call! Send them a text or a note.
We all like to feel valued, as if we matter, make a difference. Appreciated.
If for some reason you don’t, become a teacher.
Or turn to Jesus. He values you. Every little hair on your head matters to him!
Happy Teacher Appreciation week to all you teachers out there! Thank you for making a difference!
***Update***Today is pizza from a local church. 🍕 😊No much needed gym membership for me. 😔
But we request of you brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord, and give you instruction. 1 Thessalonians 5:12
