Do you ever get tired of eating and coming up with what or where to eat three times a day?
The other evening my husband asked, “What’s your thoughts on dinner?” It was one of those days, so I shared this particular view with him. His reply was, “Babe, we need to go somewhere fun for dinner!” And at the same time we both said in unison, “Chuck E. Cheese’s!”
Maybe that wasn’t such a wild idea. After all, they are equipped for adults, too! They do have gluten free pizza and premium beer and wine. A friendly arcade game competition may have been the perfect date night! But I think I’ll save that activity for the grandkids.
I was not a three square meal kind of girl before I married. Coffee for breakfast, and a substantial lunch or dinner would do it for me flying solo. Now eating has become as much a social event as nutrition.
Don’t get me wrong, I do love to eat!
How about you, do you eat to live or do you live to eat?
Whatever your preference may be, let’s all do it, always remembering where it all comes from, our God. Who nurtures our physical bodies and our soul. And if you eat and drink socially, do it all for the glory of God.
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31
