My youngest daughter just bought their first house. A cute little starter home here in Tulsa. Just in time to settle in before baby Pierce is brought home and welcomed into his very own room next month.
I went over there just as they were setting up their bedroom for their first night in their new home. How exciting!
As I entered their side door, I noticed pansies. Lots of them. Hidden beneath some overgrown weeds in an unkept flowerbed along side of their house. I love pansies!
My daughter and I began removing the weeds with ease only to uncover an entire row of brightly colored pansies in every color of the rainbow.
New life poking their precious little faces up out of the ground. Spring has sprung!
New life there to welcome the new life that would soon be swaddled and carried into their new home.
Hardy little pansies. With their sweet little chubby faces.
I can hardly wait to see my new grandson’s precious little face!
Happy spring everybody!
Enjoy this season of new life. The dormant brown of winter has turned to shades of living green. Flowers bloom. Babies are born.
Christ came at this season to offer us all new life. It’s yours for the taking if you’ll just believe in him.
Here’s to new life! And pansies! And the soon to be arrival of baby Pierce!
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17
