My Future’s So Bright, I’ve Got To Wear Shades

Good morning!

I just have to tell you, I’m blessed!

I live in a country where I can freely share my Christian beliefs and love of God. I have a wonderful, handsome, successful husband who I love dearly. We have fun! I have three beautiful daughters who are all grown and at happy places in their own lives with men they too love. I have two precious, healthy grandchildren and one on the way. My 88 year old father is alive and well, living with us. I have an aunt that models the true proverbs 31 woman for me. I have a sweet, loyal Golden Retriever that walks me each evening. And a striking, black cat that reminds my heart daily of my dear, departed father-in-law. I love what I do, working with exceptional students. My family home is being brought up to date by my dear husband. It’s new look is breathtaking.

I’m in a season of God’s favor.

You could say, my future’s so bright, I’ve got to wear shades!

Truly, none of us know what our future holds. From one day to the next. That is why we need to live each day to its fullest. Be the best we can be! Reach out and touch someone! For this day may just be our last.

I encourage each of you to remember we are but mere mortals. Our time is finite. Here on earth.

With Easter nearing, I’m reminded of just how bright my future is. Not materially or physically, but spiritually. Things and health can come and go in the blink of an eye. My future lies in the hands of my creator. My God. And yours too!

Why not put on your shades and go outside and enjoy not only this spring break, but every day, and the fact that your future too is so bright, in Christ, that you’ve got to wear shades!

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11

Love and laughter,
