Today is Mooooooooving Day!
Yesterday and today are moving days for me. Out with the old, in with the new. Classrooms.
It’s a new year. What better time for out with the old, in with the new?
New seating arrangements as desks and tables move from the blue to the red hall. New fteshly sharpened pencils and erasers at each table. New bulletin boards with fresh borders displaing anchor charts of math facts and reading decoding tricks. New curriculum to teach. New paras to help. New students to meet on Monday.
I now am embracing my fresh start. The organization. The challenge.
Yesterday I donned jeans and t-shirt and moved furniture and boxes on dollies. I did my first new student’s IEP. Today i put in the personal touches. Bulletin boards. Curriculum organized. Supplies out and ready. Lesson plans in place.
What areas in your life do you need to make anew?
Let’s all make anew from time to time. Take inventory. Out with the old. I’m with the new. Toss what’s not working. Keep what is. That’s how Christ wants us to be.
Bring on Monday! Let’s begin anew! Welcome to Room 132!
You were taught, with regatd to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24
