Let It Snow

Good morning!

This week we are learning all about snow. We are reading stories about like snow like Dream Snow and Snowman At Night and Snow Day. We are making our own paper snowflakes. We are making unique snowflakes by cutting out our own names. We are making our own snow made from baking soda and white conditioner, and corn starch and shaving cream. We are learning what cities and schools do to prepare for snow days. We are watching Frosty the Snowman to end our day each day. And we are hoping and praying for a White Christmas!

Did you know that the  world’s largest snowflake was reported to be 15 inches across and 8 inches thick? Did you know that at least one septillion ice crystals fall from the sky in the U.S. alone each year? (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) Did you know that all snowflakes have six points? Did you know that each one is unique? No two are alike.

That’s just how we are. With all the people in the world, throughout all of time, no two of us have ever been just  alike!

God created snowflakes and God creates us! We are all his masterpieces! Here’s to God’s creation! And here’s to snow!

Who doesn’t love to at least watch if not play in it?

If you are dreaming of a white Christmas this year, I hope you get one. And P.S. If we do see snow this year, just remember, white is good, but don’t eat yellow snow!

Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.                Isaiah 1:18

Love and laughter,

Sandy
