Good morning!

Sunday morning we watched a video on Venice. It was so very interesting. It told about its trade and commerce and early beginnings, it’s tourism, its tides and waste system, and how the floating city is slowly sinking.

It fascinates me that a city such as that was built centuries ago, before computers, and it still stands today.

I visited tbere as a young child while living in Italy. If you don’t believe me then get out your reel to reel projector and see for yourself.  I’ve got proof. LOL  The films are almost as old as the city itself.

My husband promised me that I could go back. We’d go visit Venice together and ride on gondolas.  I can’t wait. For some reason Italy is my dream place to go see. The beaches, the vineyards, the art, the history, the music, the food and wine.

How about you? Where do you dream of visiting?

Italy may be my dream place here on earth, but heaven is my ultimate dream location. That place that my soul longs for. My happy place. That place I want to go. Not just to visit, but to settle. To spend eternity.  With my heavenly father.
Here’s to traveling, seeing the world. The rest and relaxation that go along with a vacation or break. But greater still, here’s to heaven. The best location for us all to go see. When it is our time. No visits. The one place well  never want to leave and return home. We’ll be there. Home.

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.  Philippians 3:20-21

Love and laughter,
