Taco Tuesday rolls around every week. My routine as I run into Taco Bueno for my weekly fix is to fill my containers with jalapeños and salsa and grab a fork for the beans that are included with my taco platter. This week as I reached into the dispenser to get my utensil, this is what I found.
I love the spork! The perfect uniting of the spoon and the fork! ❤ A marriage made in heaven! You can scoop and stab to your heart’s desire. Not only your beans, but those unruly little pieces of beef, lettuce, and tomato that fell out of your taco.
Who was the mastermind behind this little ingenious tool I ask?
Why none other than Samuel W. Francis!
Inquiring minds want to know, ya know. So I Googled it! I do love Google! Even more than sporks! The interesting fact to me was he received his U.S. Patent 147.119 in February 1874! Where had the sport been my whole life? My take away for today is this. Cherish the little things in life. The details. God does. He’s a God of detail. He cares about every Last Detail. He created us, leaving out no detail. He knows our every are every Last Detail. Our thoughts and even the number of hairs on our head! Let’s thank him for that today. And for sports! My Bueno runs would not be complete without them! But the very hairs of your head are numbered. Matthew 10:30 love and laughter, Sandy
