Today daylight savings time ended at 2:00 a.m. We’re back on standard time.
That means our clocks fall back. One hour. We gain one hour of sleep today, and one hour of sunlight at the end of each day until we spring forward in March.
Today we fall back. Sometimes we fall back in other ways. We fall back into bad habits. I am guilty of succumbing to the temptation of indulging in too many sweets.
The scales and my clothing don’t lie. It’s time. Past time to self-correct. To either eat less or exercise more. Fat and happy is me. Healthy and happy needs to be me. Winter weight is not attractive. It needs to come off. With discipline and willpower I can re-establish good eating habits.
How about you?
Are you falling back into any habits you would be better off avoiding?
Please join me in changing our ways. Repenting. Turning from our sinful ways. And asking God for forgiveness and help.
Let’s all turn our clocks back. Let’s fall back in time. And not fall back in our habits that need to be avoided.
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape that you will be able to endure it. 1Corinthians 10:13
