The Weather Man

Good morning!

I want to be the weather man. A meteorologist. It’s the only job where you can be wrong every day and still get paid!

Yesterday when I woke up I looked at my phone and saw this. It called for a 1% chance of rain.

I walked downstairs and let my dog out. It was pouring!

Wouldn’t you love to be able to make mistakes daily yet still have others believe and trust in you?

Well, you can!

That’s what being a Christian is all about! Thanks to Jesus dying on a cross for us, for our sin, we are forgiven. We can make mistakes daily and still be loved and accepted by our God, his son, Jesus, and our fellow Christians. That should brighten your day no matter what the weather!

Lets face it. We all make mistakes. But the joy we can experience as Christians is that we can learn from our mistakes. To not repeat them. To let the past remain in the past. To bring right where we’ve wronged. And instead, to ask forgiveness and live more Christ like.

So let’s go out on our rain boots and go play in the rain! Let’s celebrate mistakes! The weatherman’s mistake of yesterday brought us rain! Growth for our plants. That’s no mistake!

There’s no mistake about it, we may not always know what we’re doing, but our God does not make mistakes!

Indeed, we all make many mistakes. James 3:2

Love  and  laughter,
