Dallas

Good morning!

Yesterday afternoon we took a road trip. We headed south. South to Dallas. The Metroplex so to speak.  We parked it in the Plano area. And there is nothing plain old about Plano. Nothing in Texas is plain old. Everything is bigger in Texas.

From the moment you cross the river, the state line, even the roads become bigger. And better. The corporations you pass along each side of the highway as you enter the Dallas area are bigger and better. The freeways and expressways are bigger and better.

One could easily be confused as to whether they were on the correct highway or a ride at nearby Arlington’s Six Flags Over Texas.

But with that big, also brings big traffic! Yuck!

We went to Dallas to visit my father in law, my new brother in law, my new nephew, and to meet my new sister in law. And to make a quick trip to Ikea for some ideas for our present home remodel. A store we do not have in Tulsa. Another example of something bigger and better in Texas.

Texas is big. It may be bigger and better in its size, its roads, its school systems and teacher’s pay, and, maybe sometimes, its football teams. BUT, there is something bigger. Much bigger.

We have a God that is bigger and better than everything. Bigger than Dallas. Bigger than Texas.

He made it all! With His outstretched arm. And His power. There is nothing He can’t do. Just ask Him.

If your troubles in life seem too big to handle and overwhelm you, know you have a God that created you that cares about you, and is there beside you to help. Nothing is too big or too hard for Him!

A big thank you goes out to The Fowler family for their great hospitality!  Your home is as beautiful as you all are! I’m honored to be a part of your family! ❤

Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.     Jeremiah 32:17

Love and laughter,

Sandy
