My greatest challenge this year is to bring all my students to literacy. To teach them all to read.
To review, aach day we are taking a different letter of the alphabet in order and reading a book emphasizing that letter. Then my students go to the board, markers in hand, and they write all the words they can think of or find in the room beginning with that letter.
I was walking down the hall the other day and saw this sign on a door exiting to our garden area.
It will be the “P”erfect field trip for the letter P! A class adventure to the door full of ps.
I love those moments where I see God’s fingerprint on something. When I know without a shadow of a doubt that God placed something just for me for my finding. The P Poster was one of those things! It was Perfect!
How about you? Do you go through life looking for God’s presence in all that you do or are you a sceptic?
Just as I am teaching my students to recognize letters and sounds and put them together to form words then thoughts, I would encourage you to recognize the presence of God and then put that presence together with those things along the path of your life. You just might find it to be a Perfectly, Pleasing exPerience!
Now before I go to Publish this Post, here’s a little honework for you. Find how many Ps are in the verse for today.
You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. At your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalms 16:11
