Our home may not be lacking in wrought iron. It can be found on the windows, the staircase, and surrounding the balcony, but one thing it is lacking in is closet space.
Each bedroom was originally built with just a small sliding door closet. That did not cut it for my clothes. When I moved in I took up residency in two of the bedroom closets.
Then moved in my husband. He has more clothes than me. He did not mess with just taking over an extra closet, he took over an entire room. An entire bedroom has become his closet. His domain. His dressing room so to speak. Until we remodel. We call it “The Room”.
He’s the biggest giver, and not materialistic at all. He’s just recently combined two households of clothing of his own from years of working on the road.
How about you? Do you have more clothes than you have room for? Do you find yourself standing in front of a closet full of clothing thinking you have nothing to wear? You are not alone!
Let’s all stop worrying about what we should wear. Let’s concern ourselves more so with what we look like on the inside. Let’s make sure our internal closets are well kept and organized, ready for any season. Let’s make sure their is ample room in our hearts to clean out a closet or two to share with those more in need. And on this note I will close, there’s more to life than wearing clothes.
Therefore I tell you, do not be worried about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes? Matthew 6:25
