Have you ever heard the expression, he or she is showing their true colors?
During teacher training at KW, we recently did an exercise in just that, finding our true colors. We all took a personality test.
We were asked a series of questions. Our responses were divided into colors: blue, gold, green, and orange.
My husband is as green as they come. A perfect case of opposites attract. I like to think of it as we balance each other. His strengths balance my weaknesses and visa versa.
I’d encourage you to take the test just for fun. You can find it online.
Whatever your color strengths may be, our purpose here on Earth is to show our true colors consistently day in and day out. To be transparent. Authentic. To interact with others using the unique personalities that we were each given by our creator. To let our blues soften the greens. To ket greens enlighten the blues. To let oranges lighten up the golds a little more. To let golds keep oranges on task a little better.
We all need each other. For balance. Together let’s all work together in harmony making one big rainbow of true colors!
I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:13
