I just got married this past weekend at the cutest little quaint chapel, the Little Church of the West. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s been around since 1942 and is the oldest chapel on the Las Vegas Strip.
We are in good company of those married at that locale. In 1964 Elvis Presley and Ann-Margaret recited their vows in the movie Viva Las Vegas at the Little Church of the West. Not to mention Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford.
Viva Las Vegas! ❤
This little chapel is golden. It has most likely seen alot in its many years of existence. Kind of like me. I’m no spring chicken. I’ve seen and experienced alot in my years as well. And with that I hope I have picked up a little wisdom along the way. A little understanding. And hopefully along the way both the little chapel and I have been filled with the Lord’s presence.
I look forward to the days and years remaining in my own life. To see where they lead me. I hope the Lord does increase and multiply them.
And yours too! May you live long on this earth. Into your golden years. Just like this little church of the west. And may you too open your doors in love!
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied and the years of my life shall be increased. Proverbs 9:10-11
Love and laughter,
