Summertime

Good morning!

It’s summertime! 😎🌞

I have been so busy, so preoccupied with ending one job, transitioning into my summer job, and preparing to begin a new job, that I’ve failed to realize, it’s summertime.

I’m no longer a kid. Mine are grown. I’m a grownup. I go to work every day. I have no constant reminder that school’s out, it’s time to go play in the sun. It’s summer.

But I do have grandchildren.  And I’m going to do just that. Spend Sunday with them. At church, at lunch, then in the sun. If they’ll have me. For some summertime fun.

Time to kick off your shoes. Play in a pool, a splashpad, the lake, or the ocean.

I’m in! Are you?

Let’s all strip off our adult attire and attitudes and put on our floaties and join in some childlike summertime fun!

Get your water guns ready, Tucker and Ava, here Grandy comes!

And the streets of the city shall be full with boys and girls playing in its streets.                                         Zechariah 8:5

Love and laughter,

Sandy

  1. Summer has just begun – how did you get so tan? Is that the bottle tan – no matter it’s becoming!
