Reinventing  Yourself

Good morning !

I’m 57. And I’m once again reinventing myself. I’m no longer a wife and mother. Well, I’ll always be a mother, but my nest is empty.

Now I’m a friend, a caregiver, and hopefully soon will be a teacher.

Sometimes as I peruse Facebook, I long to be those old schoolmates of mine that are happily married to their first and only husbands, who set Martha Stewart tables each holiday, and who are able to tour the world with their spouses in this retirement stage of their lives.

But that’s not me. That’s not where God has put me. He’s got a plan. I get do-overs. Until I get it right I presume. So I’m reinventing myself.

I’m excited to see what my next chapter holds!  If any of you out there are doing the same, I encourage you to believe in God’s plan. Then believe in yourself . Then hope for the best. Truly the best is yet to come! 😃

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.                                                                         Jeremiah  29:11

Love and laughter,

Sandy
