I recently undertook a short term goal in an attempt for long term payoffs. I began a nine week long special education boot camp. The outcome is alternative certification to teach special education. It’s felt as if all I’ve done is study for as long as I can remember, but in actuality it’s only been a little more than two months. They didn’t call it boot camp for nothing. It was intense to say the least. But Saturday is my final day. I’m two short days away from completion for all my hard work. Of reaching my goal.
I may not be there yet. But I am closer than I was yesterday. 🙂
I encourage each of you to believe in something. And believe in yourself. God does! Never stop growing. Learning. Set goals. Challenge yourself. And when the going gets tough, don’t give up. Be strong. And if you’re not strong, turn to God. Cry out in prayer. Turn to your support systems. There will be a reward for your work at the end.
“But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
2 Chronicles 15:7
