Today is the third Monday in January. It is the day we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Schools are closed. Banks are closed. There’ll be no postal service. But there will be a parade! 🙂
Tulsans can gather at 11:00 at Detroit and John Hope Franklin Boulevard for the parade. And today’s weather is already looking quite hopeful for a grand turnout! Who doesn’t love a parade?
A parade to honor Martin Luther King Jr. , a Baptist minister, social activist, and Nobel Peace Prize recipient who led the Civil rights movement. Led it in peace. All because he had a dream.
How about you?
Do you have a dream?
If so, I encourage you to follow it. If not, I encourage you to create one! Dream big!
Those visions in your head while you lie in your bed really can come true. Look at Martin Luther King, Jr.
Let’s all live the dream. Every day. Continue Dr. King’s dream. A dream for peace and love and equality. For all mankind. It’s not just Dr. King’s dream. It’s God’s plan. We’re the ones that have blundered.
And to those of you in Arkansas, Alabama, and Mississippi, happy Robert E. Lee day, too!
May all your dreams come true!
However, there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will take place in the latter days This was your dream and the visions in your mind while on your bed. Daniel 2:28
Love and laughter,
