More Light Less Heat

Good morning!

I don’t know about you, but I’m about tired of the protests. The media bias. The Facebook whiners. The haters. The drama.

The holidays are soon upon us. Time for love and uniting. I want to see more love. Less hating.

I’m ready for more light. Less heat.

Light is defined as the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible; understanding of a problem or mystery, enlightenment.

Heat is defined as intensity of feeling,  especially of anger or excitement.

Although a single candle produces light, it does not produce a great deal of heat. It only takes a single spark to get a fire going. One candle can light another and so on to create a great light. But still no great heat.

Let’s let our light shine like that of a candle. Let’s spread our light on a darkened world. One spark at a time. From me. And you. Without the heat. Without stirring up the flames.

Let’s speak love. Let’s show love. To others. Let’s together extinguish the intensity of anger and bring back a belief once again in the goodness of all mankind. In the goodness of God.

More light. Less heat.                                        It works for God. Let’s try it.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Love and laughter,

Sandy
