Invisible

Good morning!

This little guy is one of my all time favorites! ♡

He and his family!  ♡♡♡♡ They are the epitome of what the American family should be all about! They exemplify God’s plan for how we all should live.

Tuesday was Election Day. I had to make a quick trip to Oklahoma City and back for a post-op check up. A couple hundred miles round trip. As I made the monotonous drive down the Turner Turnpike for my fifth trip in the last few months, I was moved to use my time to reminisce. About what it truly meant to be an American. To me.

All day long I was filled with a strong sense of patriotism. From the time my day began seeing a long line of Americans standing out in the rain waiting to go inside and exercise their civic right to vote. At a church that provided complementary Starbucks coffee and pastries for those voting. To.the children in our preschool building learning about presidents and voting.

My mind raced back to a video post from the beginning of school. My little friend on day two of preschool saying the pledge of allegiance. He nailed it! 🙂 His only flaw was he said invisible in place of indivisible. It made me laugh at the time, but it also made me think. Out of the mouths of babes! How true he was! As a nation we had lost our superior position. We no longer were a force to be reckoned with. A source other countries could see as the big brother that they could count on for help. We truly were no longer indivisible. We have been divided within by race and gender and political party and income level. We truly had almost become invisible. When did we lose being one nation under God?

Let’s rally! Together. Republican and Democrat. Black and white. Rich and poor. Male and female and everyone in between. Under God is the key. Not above Him as many have placed themselves.. Let’s once again be indivisible. One nation. One mind set. United.

Funny how one little word misspoken by one little boy can change the entire meaning. The same holds true for united. Like our states should be. Move just one letter. Shift the I and the t and you have untied. Total opposite meaning. Let’s not be invisible as a strong nation any longer.. Let’s no longer be untied as states.

Here’s to an indivisible America once again. Here’s to truly being United states. Let’s bring back prayer. And once again be under God as our founding fathers and our heavenly father intended!

Our God may be invisible to our naked eye, but He is alive and well in the hearts and souls of Americans.♡ Especially my little friend who has more patriotism in his little four year old body than many adults. Keep up the good work my friend! You’ve got my vote if you want to run for president when you grow up. ♡

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.                 Colossians 1:15

Love and laughter,

Sandy
