Faux Hawk Mohawk

Good morning!

Even our three year old little boys are sporting the faux hawk look as they report to school each day. The faux hawk. This year’s latest craze in hair styles for males.

It appears mothers these days are spending more money on hair gel for their toddler boys than bows for their daughters.

Hair. Regardless of whether you are male or female, it is an object of vanity. How much you have, what color it is, and  how you chooae to style it all play a distinctive part in your physical appearance. Most men dread going bald, and most women despise going gray.

Look at Donald Trump.  His hair is his trademark as hair raising as that may be.

How about you? Do you let your hair down or do you pull it up, gel it in place, or shave it bald?

Let’s all look deeper than just the hairs on our head when we look at others. Did you know our own heavenly father knows us so well that He knows the exact number of hairs on each of our heads? Let’s see the beauty in mankind from within. After all, faux anything means fake, artificial.  Imitation. Let’s be the real deal.  Genuine. With or without hair. Let’s not be Sampsons. Rrlying upon our hair for our strength. Nor shall we be conniving Delilahs using trickery and seduction to get our own way . Let’s instead rely on our God for our strength and our waya. And leave the faux hawks and hair gel for the Younger generation.

After putting him to sleep on her lap, she called for someone to shave off the seven braids of his hair, and so began to subdue him. And his strength left him.       Judges 16:19

Love and laughter,
