I started my first official outdoor fire yesterday in my chimenea. I love fires! Controlled ones that is. 🙂 Outside. Inside. I love gazing into the flickering flames as they dance against their darkened background.
Offer me s’mores roasted over an open bonfire or a glass of wine in front of a romantic fireplace, and I’m all yours. ♡ Yesterday it was just burning some dry leaves. My favorite is the scent of pinion wood burning in the air.i love sitting outdoors on a crisp fall night wrapped in a blanket in front of a fire sharing of fond memories and future dreams with those I love.
The heat of a fire burns intensely. A wild fire consumes all in its path. Except in biblical times. God revealed Himself to Moses through a burning bush. A bush that was engulfed in flames of fire yet was not consumed.
Let’s all be consumed By God’s love. It, too, burns intensely. For each of us. Let’s all enjoy this beautiful fall season. Let’s spend it being thankful. For the beautiful fall colors of crimson and orange..The delicious flavors of apple and pumpkin. The roaring fires to warm cool nights. The friends and family to shsre it with. But most of all, God’s consuming love that burns brightly inside each of us. ♡
The angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed. .. Exodus 3:2
