Fall Break

Good morning!

Today is the first day of Fall Break. The first break of the 2016-2017 school year.   A five day vacation from school for the students. From work for the staff. It also means a staycation for me. Time to take care of some much needed tasks on my To Do list.

I love Fall! Especially the temperatures and the colors.

The warm air isn’t exactly crisp today, and the leaves are still green. My boots and sweaters are still in the closet, but I have been to several live football games already this season. And I have partaken in several pumpkin spice beverages. And I do start each day with a delicious hot cup of coffee.  I look forward to all of my favorite parts of Fall coming to full fruition. The temperature and color parts are in God’s hands. In His timing. They’ll happen. 🙂 Fall is my favorite season.

May everyone celebrating Fall break this year have a blessed time doing whatever they may choose to do with those dear to them.  A restful break. May each and everyone slow down and take a moment to look around at God’s beautiful nature. It’s breathtaking.  And it’s free for the taking. Let’s all “fall” in love with this time of year. The season of Fall. Autumn. The gorgeous colors of the changing leaves. God’s paintbrush touching nature. The cooler temperatures soon to usher in the next season. Just some of the many glimpses of all God’s awesome masterpieces.

Happy Fall Break! Happy Fall Y’All!  🙂

And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years,                                                       Genesis 1:14
Love and laughter,
