Good morning!
Isn’t that just how life is? Take this summer. When I had nothing but free time on my hands, there was nothing crucial I needed to do. Nor were there funds to cover much more than nothing. And just when school once again began, everything else in my life needed attending to.
What I needed was a full Life Makeover!
I needed a new plan to make over my entire life. A transformation from the inside out. Health, fitness, organization, romance, finance, career, home, learning, spirituality, and escapes. That about covered it.:)
I have been in the process of putting several of those into place this past year. For starters I go to my new eye doctor in Oklahoma City on the 27th to schedule my upcoming surgery. There’s schedules for exercise, cleaning, studying, yardwork and church. There’s two jobs and 401k reinvesting to help with the finances. And last but not least is a time scheduled to go to a beach. To walk with the cool sand between my toes. To witness one last sunset gazing across a scenic beach before I die.
It’s no longer about who I have been, or what riches I once had, but rather who I’m trying to be. The true authentic me. Who I am now and who I want to become. Finding my true identity, value, and purpose. Here’s hoping my after exceeds my before. Here’s to a better version of me.
How about you? Any of you interested in doing a life makeover with your own lives? Feel free to come join me!
Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy (18) … to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, (19) storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed. 1Timothy 6:17-19
Love and laughter,
Sandy
