Labor Not In Vain

Good morning!

Happy Labor Day!                                   Today is a tribute to workers. A day of rest from your labor. A day to celebrate your hsrd work. Instead of working today, let’s all spend the day doing what we love with those we love. Let’s make today a “labor” of love.

Here’s to all that labor. The construction workers, the cowboys and indians, the police officers, the firemen, the military, the tradesmen, the farmers, the teachers, the doctors, the nurses, the lawyers, and everyone else with a W-2. Whether you are blue collar, white collar or wear no collar at all, here’s to you for what you do! ♡

We all work together to make this place we call America, our home, our nation, the best it can be! Each job just as important in keeping the circle of life in motion.

When we work, let’s all give our utmost best, our excellence. Let’s work as if we’re working for God. Perform your work here on earth for an earthly authority figure, but never stop doing your work for the Lord. For your eternal authority figure. Do overtime spreading God’s love to the world. I promise you your reward will be plentiful!  Then you’ll never do your work in vain.

And then when we’re all off from work on weekends and holidays, let’s all enjoy the precious gift we’ve been given, the gift of rest.

May each of you enjoy your day today to its fullest. Your day of rest from labor. For tomorrow once again brings labor for most. Happy Labor Day!  ðŸ™‚

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain                     1 Corinthians 15:58

for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.                                               Hebrews 4:10

Love and laughter,

Sandy
