Back To School

Good morning!

I can’t believe summer break is already over. Today is my first day back to work at Jenks West Elementary.  The students start Friday.

As a child,  I always loved back to school time.β™‘ Shopping for new clothes and new school supplies. There’s nothing better than a new backpack, lunchbox with your favorite character, and pens, pencils, and crayons. Top it off with seeing old and meeting new friends and it’s the cherry on top! πŸ™‚

This year I am not only wishing my students a very merry back to school but myself as well. I am presently preparing to take three tests for my teaching certification.  I’ve come full circle this school year when it comes to Back to School. I’ll be on both sides of the classroom. Helping students learn from 7:45 to 3:15 each day and learning  myself as the student from 3:15 to 7:45. Preparing for and taking my tests.

Regardless of whether we are still in school or not, we are all constantly learning. Something. Or we should be. Don’t ever let yourself get stagnant.

What tests do you have to pass in life?  We are all being tested whether we are in school or out. Tested by our employers to perform ro a set standard. Tested by our own children to their boundaries. Where we draw the limirs.Tested by the temptations of this world..

We should all be testing our own environment out each and every day. The data we give out and the data we take in. Only accepting doctrines that are good and true and right.

When it is all said and done I want to pass the test. Have my name be written in the book of life. With a passing grade.

I wish everyone a safe and successful 2016-2017 school year as we embark on another adventure. As we go Back to School! πŸ™‚

21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.                                                                     1 Thessalonians 5:21

Love and laughter,

Sandy
