This summer we have four of us working together in our classroom full time. A teacher and three paras. All in different stages of their lives. A grandmother. A mother. A bride-to-be. And a single young woman. But all blondes.
In the world of preschoolers, these are the blondes they are accustomed to.
Elsa. Aurora. Cinderella. Rapunzel.
I wish I was one of those four. 🙂
But I’m not. I’m just me. No princess. Just blonde. And my shade of blonde is by choice not heredity these days. I’m the grandmother. The years have mixed gray into what was once ash blonde. I choose to be blonde.
So my question to you is do blondes really have more fun?
I’m all about fun. I’ve had more than my share of it in my lifetime. But I really don’t think hair color has anything to do with it. I have 3 daughters. All brunettes. And trust me, they know how to have fun! 🙂
And besides there is so much more to life than simply having fun.
Let’s all have fun! There’s nothing wrong with it. In fact, God encourages it. But let’s realize that real life isn’t all fun and make believe Disney Princesses. Let’s put our efforts into helping others more than choosing our hair color.
Thank you for working with me ladies!
I look forward to spending the remainder of this month with you showing our “friends” that learning can be fun! So, I guess blondes really do have more fun! 🙂
And we love you Miss Tara, our brunette Speech Path! ♡ We’re so glad you are with us again.
15 So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun.
Love and laughter,
