It’s that time of year again!
The end of the school year.
Just like Christmas and Teacher Appreciation Week, I have once again been blessed by many of the parents of our students.
With tokens of their appreciation for putting up with their little angels.
In the form of gift cards.
Who doesn’t love gift cards? ♡
They increase the salaries of us meagerly paid educators immensely!
Thank you! 🙂
From the bottom of my heart! ♡
And my stomach.
And even my gas tank.
And if you play your cards right, you just might get one from Starbucks and Sonic and Chick-fil-A and Target and Wal-Mart and Starbucks and Books-A-Million and Canes and Napa Flats and did I mention Starbucks? 🙂 Just like I did!
What a treat! 🙂
I met a girlfriend for coffee at Starbucks just yesterday and redeemed my first one. A tall Caramel Waffle Cone Frappuccino for me and an Egg & Cheddar Breakfast Sandwich to go for my dad. Compliments of one of my Starbucks gift card giver! Thank you! You started my Saturday fabulously!
Two small words that carry such big weight. We all love to here them when we give something to another. Whether it be our time. Our love. Our thoughts and prayers. Our gifts or services. No matter how big or small it may be. It’s polite. It’s courteous. It’s using good manners. It’s the right thing to do.
And sometimes those two words are included with a gift.
Like a gift card. 🙂
Let’s all have grateful hearts. Giving thanks at all times. To our God for His gifts. And to our fellow man for his, whatever they may be.
And if you play your cards right, you just might get a gift of thanks along with those words in return.
Ta-ta for now! I’m off to see what gift card I can use next. 😉
18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
