Making Good Choices

Good morning!

In special education, we use a lot of visuals for directions and transitions.
Two in particular used in Miss Framer’s room are good choice and sad choice.
Thumbs up and thumbs down.

A thumbs up can earn you the position of line leader. A thumbs down can cost you center or playground time. The choice is yours.

Sharing with friends. Listening to your teacher. Sitting still and quiet during circle time. Those are all good choices! A thumbs up for sure!

Let’s all make good choices in life! No matter how old we are. Let’s dwell on what’s excellent.

Just remember God is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.  He knows every choice we make. Every one we have ever made or ever will make. And we each will be held accountable for every choice we’ve made when we stand before our God.

Let’s all get a thumbs up from Him as He looks down upon us, not a thumbs down for not following His directions. Those directions that are found in His word.

Why not start following directions by believing Jesus is the only way to eternal life? Choose Jesus.
A good choice. An excellent choice. The best choice. A thumbs up for sure!

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
Philippians 4:8

Love and laughter,

Sandy
