We recently completed our unit on camping in Miss Marilyn’s classroom. Yesterday morning our students got to watch a YouTube video about camping. It was a video of the book, Just Me And My Dad. Part I that is.
The YouTube is in two parts.
Part II is to follow on Wednesday, the next class meeting for these groups.
It just so happens that I have a personal day scheduled for Wednesday. I will not be at school to watch part II. I will be at St. Francis Hospital with my dad while he has cardiac surgery on Wednesday. Just me and my dad. Our own version. 🙂
The thought of never knowing how that cute little book ended haunted me. As soon as I got home for the day, I pulled it up on YouTube.on my phone. Part II that is. And I watched it. I could rest well. The suspense was no longer killing me. And I did. 🙂
Don’t you just hate it when you fall asleep watching a movie, and you never know the ending?
That’s not how it is with Jesus!
The Old Testament prophesied His coming, His crucifixion, His rising from the dead, and His second coming. We all know the ending to His story. And ours too if we just follow Him. It’s the never ending story.
If you are unsure or know anyone who is of how their story ends, just know it doesn’t really matter how your part I began. What matters is how your part II ends. Let’s all let ours end with a happily ever after. Jesus can offer us that. Eternity in heaven. Each of us spending eternity in heaven with our Heavenly Father. Just me and my dad. ♡
The end of a matter is better than its beginning;
Love and laughter,
