With Cinco De Mayo just around the corner what better time than the present to talk about jalapenos. I love anything spicy! ♡ The hotter the better! Jalapeno sausage rolls for breakfast, jalapeno poppers on the grill, jalapenos on my Subway sandwiches and Hideaway pizzas, and jalapeno double cheeseburgers at McDonald’s (until they recently discontinued them from their local menu here.)
I love jalapenos, but hot is not always good. Sheol, Hades, the place of the dead. One in the same, no matter what you want to call it. I don’t know about you, but even though I may enjoy my food hot and spicy, I don’t want to spend my eternity in a lake of fire! 😦
Let’s all leave the heat for the peppers. And let’s all find cool refreshment in Jesus. His ways are good. All the time. Let’s not be consumed by sinful ways which just like the jalapenos, offer us fleeting spice to our lives. Let’s live for eternity. Let’s live for Jesus.
And by the way, it’s Taco Tuesday! You’ll find me at the Taco Bueno drive through this evening picking up my taco platter for $2.99! And yes, don’t forget the jalapenos on the side! 🙂 See you there!
Drought and heat consume the snow waters, So does Sheol those who have sinned.
Love and laughter,
