Keys

Good morning!

I have a 2012 Honda Crosstour. Evidently I’d dropped my keys one too many times. My car key broke. šŸ˜¦Ā  You know the one that locks and unlocks the doors. The one with the chip in it. The expensive one to replace. The transponder key. šŸ˜¦

A call to the Honda dealership revealed a $200 price tag for a duplicate.

I decided to try another route.
I’m a Google girl. I Google everything!

This is what I found on Ebay.

I couldn’t resist trying it. What did I have to lose? I could handle a $20 loss.

I found the FCC ID number on the inside of the plastic cover. I ordered my key. It arrived in the mail. I took it to Ace Hardware to be cut. They referred me to a locksmith down the street since it was a laser cut key, outside of their services. The locksmith cut it for me with no problem. He swapped out the internal chip from my original key so no programming was necessary.
It worked! šŸ™‚ And it was much less costly than the Honda dealership.

Keys.
They lock and unlock what is of value to us. Protect it.

If God gave you the keys to heaven right now and told you depending on what you secured here on earth is what you would have access to, what do you think you could unlock?

Would it be treasures or trash? Think about it.

Let’s all do on earth as it is in heaven. What we do here each and every day matters. It matters for eternity. Let’s all unlock all that binds us and love and give unconditionally to those around us. It’s the key to the life we’re meant to live.

“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16:19

Love and laughter,

Sandy
