It’s A Wrap

Good morning!

One of my co-workers is a consultant for Jamberry. She hosted a party in her classroom after work last Monday. Good bye expensive salon manis and pedis. Hello nail wraps!

Any color or pattern you could imagine.

They don’t peel or chip like regular polish, so the fingernail wraps last on the average about two weeks and the toenail wraps two months.

The word wrap means to arrange or fold (something ) about as cover or protection.

We wrap gifts in bright shiny paper at special occasions to enhance the experience of presenting the gift inside.

There’s nothing better than wrapping yourself in a cozy blanket on a cold winter’s night.

A wrap is basically like a hug.
And who doesn’t love a hug? ♡

I can think of two times in particular that wrapping something as cover or protection on a special occasion  enhanced the experience of presenting the gift inside.

The birth of Jesus.
The death of Jesus.

Two events we shall never forget.  That changed history.  That I hope changed you. And me. I know believing them for me has changed everything. I’m eternally thankful. I hope you are too.

Wrap yourself around that.

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Luke 2:12

Taking Jesus’ body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs.
John 19:40

Love and laughter,
