If you follow my blog at all, you know I am divorced and my 3 daughters are grown. You know I’m slowly but surely working my way to becoming a self-sufficient single woman. Not necessarily by choice, but because of my circumstances.
It’s all good until I need home or auto repair. Then it’s . . .
This is my dream man. ♡
You know, the guy who wears a tie
Then a tool belt after dark to unclog my sink, change out a light fixture, then on to oversee yard projects and tire alignment on weekends.
That knows how to do it all.
That’s my kind of man! ♡
Now that’s what a good man is to me!
And they are hard to find.
Available ones that is.
With those kinds of credentials.
I think I’ve found one.
He just hasn’t decided to find me yet! 🙂
If I can’t have my very own good man for keeps, I’d love nothing more than to find a good man that offered a boot camp for woman like myself to learn those credentials. Plumbing 101 and Electrical Wiring For Dummies and The ABCs of Carpentry and Freshman Flooring. Seriously! Teach me how to do for myself! It would be a Godsend! And just think of what a chic magnet it would be for him! Maybe I just need to hang out around Home Depot and I’ll find such classes.
We all have skills. God made us that way. Women tend to be better nurturers. Cooks. Cleaners. Men protect. Provide. And build.
Let’s all share our skills with others however we can to make their lives easier. Let’s make the lives of those around us better by our presence. Let’s use our words and our actions to edify others. Let’s change it up a little. Let’s all be that good man or good woman that’s easy to find. Let’s be Wanted.
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Love and laughter,
