Today is Crazy Socks Day at school!
You can bet I’ll have mine on! I love to participate right along with the kids in whatever the daily festivities may be. I’m a kid at heart! ♡
How about you?
Do you go through life experiencing life to its fullest? Never missing an opportunity? With your crazy socks on? Or do you sit back and watch as others participate letting life pass you by?
Let’s all put on our crazy socks and bring out the happy dance in each of us!
The bible tells us that David, the man after God’s own heart, did his happy dance in the street before God and everybody.
I encourage each of you to see through the eyes of little children every once in awhile. Wear crazy socks. Put your shoes on the wrong feet. Do whatever it takes to bring out the happy dance in you. Lose your pretentious inhibitions. I promise you, no one really cares, but you. Loosen up and be happy! 🙂
We all have so much to be happy about! Show your thankfulness with praise and dancing. For the Lord. Just like David.
Put on your favorite praise and worship tunes or Pharrell Williams’, Happy, will get you moving. My favorite. 🙂
If you don’t already have a pair or two, I’d encourage you to go out today and pick out a few pairs of crazy socks for yourself. You never know when you’ll need them or the mood will strike you to wear them. And bring on your happy dance! 🙂
And David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod.
