RACECAR

Good morning!

Do you know what a palindrome is?

It’s a word or phrase that reads the same either direction. Forwards or backwards.

My granddaughter’s name, Ava, is also a palindrome.

Another palindrome, NIYON ANOMHMATA MH MONAN OYIN, meaning wash (my) sins, not only (my) face can be found inscribed on many baptismals such as St. Mary’s Church in Nottingham and St. Paul’s in Woldingham, Surrey.

The longest palindrome word in the Guinness World Book of records to date is a Finnish word, SAIPPUAKIVIKAUPPIAS, a term used for a dealer in lye (caustic soda).

Eve, eye, noon, civic, wow, mom, dad, deed, and level, are just a few.
The next time you have some down time, just see how many different palindromes you can come up with for yourself.

Just like a palindrome reads the same forwards and backwards, did you know that Jesus Christ is also the same? Not the spelling of His name, but He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. No matter how you look at it. Looking forwards or backwards in time. He is the same. He never changes.  You can trust His word, too.  It is the same as well. From Genesis to Revelation. Looking forwards or backwards in time.

Let’s all put our faith in things that remain the same. That do not change.  That remain the same whether we are looking forwards or backwards.
That’s Jesus.
Wow! 🙂

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8

Love and laughter,

Sandy
