Gas is $1.43 a gallon!
We haven’t seen this kind of all time low prices since 1999.
Just like Prince, it makes me want to sing, “So tonight I’m gonna party like it’s nineteen ninety-nine.” 🙂
Or better yet, it makes me want to take a road trip.
If you were to venture out on a road trip, where would you go?
I’d still love to take old Route 66 across America. After all, we all know you get your kicks on Route 66. 🙂 To see the U.S. from the most rural towns to the biggest cities and eat at all the local diners and visit all the local attractions along the way.
Are you aware that our falling oil and gas prices are due to technological advancements allowing the U.S. shale industry to expand and become very profitable? In fact, the U.S. surpassed Saudi Arabia in 2014 as the global leader in oil production.
Oil has defined the Middle East for decades. The West needed it and the Middle East provided it and became very rich in the process. Israel and Jordan were the only countries in the Middle East without oil. This has now changed. The Tamar and Leviathan gas fields discovered off Israel’s coast are seen as an opportunity for Israel to become a major energy player in the Middle East.
Many biblical scholars believe this is all pointing to end times prophesy. All i can say is this, i am not a political or financial wizard, but i know what I know and it’s this. Why not be ready just in case? Why not be right with Jesus? No one knows when that may be but the Father Himself. Even though the oil prices may fall, I know for sure I don’t want to.
I encourage everyone to enjoy the falling oil prices, take advantage of them and see the country around you. But most importantly, be ready to fall on bended knee when the time does come. For we’ll all be partying much greater than it’s 1999.
And I heard what sounded like a voice from among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not waste the oil and the wine.”
Love and laughter,
