I know you all have heard me say numerous times, I have 3 daughters. 🙂 It’s the name of my blog.
Those 3 daughters mean the world to me.♡
I’ve realized I’m a girl of threes.
I’m somehow drawn to things in threes.
Firstly, the Trinity. ♡
And I have 3 daughters. 🙂
And I’ve had 3 husbands. 😦
And I have 3 wine bottles.
Sitting on my dresser.
As you can see, they hold my bracelets.
And I do love bracelets. ♡
I’m rarely without one or two. Or three! 🙂
These aren’t just any wine bottles. They serve multi-purposes. These are bottles I’ve enjoyed sharing with those I’ve loved over the years. They hold not just bracelets, but dear memories as well.
What dear memories do you have displayed around in the form of momentos?
I also have a cross wall. I use it as an outward expression of my faith. Each cross has a story signifying a special event, or a special place it came from, or a special someone that gave it to me.
Each of them bring forth a fond memory to my recollection.
When Jesus left this earth He promised He would not leave us alone. So the Holy Spirit was given to each of us by God as a helper to daily bring to mind the teachings of Jesus. To be our conscience. To help us mako good choices. To daily guide us through the course of our lives here on earth. To share in those day to day special events of our lives and those special places and those special people in our lives.
Let’s all look inward more and outward less for images to revive those things that offer us fond remembrance. Let’s let the Holy Spirit be our guide.
Ephesians 5:18 tells us, “be not drunk with wine, in which there is excess, but be filled with the Spirit.” I do enjoy a good glass of wine. Thus, my 3 wine bottles. But in moderation. I want to be filled with the Spirit.
My 3 wine bottles may hold memories and bracelets, but the Holy Spirit holds my heart and guides my way. ♡
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
