Good morning!

It’s November, the month we celebrate Thanksgiving.  And eat lots of turkey and dressing and pies. Thanksgiving is so much more than just the feast. It’s about being thankful.  Taking a day to embrace everything we have to be thankful for.

What are you thankful for?

I’m thankful for you, my readers. My friends and my family. ♡ I’m thankful for the opportunity to write this blog. To speak freely. For a roof over my head. And food on the table. A job working with such great people and great kids.  A God that loves me even when I’m not so loveable. I’m thankful for His guidance. His goodness. My health.

I encourage each of you to start each day being thankful.  An attitude of gratitude puts a smile on your face. And those around you. 🙂 It’s contagious. Why not cheer up others each day with a cheery attitude rather than being a Debbie downer and making them feel downtrodden?

Let’s all reflect on all we have to be thankful for today and every day, not just once a year around the family dining table.

I challenge each of you from now ’til Thanksgiving to start each day thanking God for what you are thankful for. Just one thing. Each day. For today.

Today I am thankful…  🙂

Today I am thankful for encouragement. Now it’s your turn. 🙂

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:15-17

Love and laughter,
