My oldest daughter, Kristen, just recently purchased Imagistation, an oversized playroom in Broken Arrow for children approximate ages 2 to 7 years old. It contains 11 imagination stations including a doctor’s office for both people and pets, a school, a performing arts stage, a weather center, a grocery store, postal service throughout all the stations, a construction site, a play house, a travel agency, a dress up area, and a kitchen. There is a room for parties as well.
I wish there had been something like that when my kids were that age. You can take your kids or grandkids to play all by yourself to score up some Brownie points or meet friends for a play date or bring the entire pre-K class along for your birthday party all without the investment of purchasing a small community of play toys and equipment or messing up your own home!
Looks to me like she and my grandchildren seem to thoroughly enjoy playing there. 🙂 What do you think?
Who wouldn’t want to own and run a business that revolved around playing?! 🙂 There is no better social or bonding experience than to play with others. I work with three year olds. I so can tell you there is importance in dramatic play. (And reading!)
The bible speaks of children playing together, so evidently God is all for it.
How do you feel about children playing? Do you enjoy watching it as I do?
Let’s all use our imaginations and picture where we would want to be if we were creating the perfect play place for each of us. What’s yours?
I love beaches. And riding horses.♡
Riding horses on the beach is my all time favorite!
But the perfect place to play for me would be heaven.
I look forward to spending eternity there with each of you. Can’t wait for our play dates. 😦 And just think what kind of a birthday celebration there could be in heaven when Jesus’ birthday is celebrated. Just use your imaginations.
Then go spend some time at Imagistation with your kids or grandkids. You’ll be glad you did!
And so will Kristen! 🙂
5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.
Kristen, my prayer for you is for life long memories “playing” with your children. Health and happiness to all in your family. You are such an awesome mother and such a talented young lady. You and Avery have given your children the gift of a full time mother at home with your children! That’s priceless in today’s society. But more than anything, you’ve taught them about Jesus. You walk the talk with them each and every day. I couldn’t be prouder of you and your little family! ♡ I love you all! ♡♡♡♡ And I pray God’s favor on your new venture. May it bring you blessings beyond your wildest imagination!
Love and laughter,
