As many of you know, yesterday was my birthday. I had the awesome privilege of celebrating it all week long.:)
There were cards and gifts and flowers and meals and cakes and fellowship and kind words too numerous to speak of them all! 🙂 I am overwhelmed as I sit here reminiscing of all the love and thoughtfulness that was shown to me. ♡ Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
Today is the day after.
Time to pick up the mess, work off those extra pounds due to all the cake I ate all week, and get back to the routine. Take off my tiara and put on my scrubs so to speak. It may be Fall Break, but this girl has bills to pay. I may not be working at school today, but you can find me working at the hospital.
Are you experiencing the day after in any areas of your life?
Where reality hits.
Are you at a place where you may be feeling a little sad or depressed or exhausted or less than your A game due to coming off a mountain top experience? Or things may just not be going in your favor during this season of your life?
If so, don’t worry, be happy! Just know that we serve a God that draws closer to us in our times of need or despair. Put your trust in Him and He will always be there protecting, providing, guiding and loving each one of us. Yesterday, today, tomorrow, and the day after.
Our God offers us eternity with Him. If today may not be your best day ever, just be patient, it will improve tomorrow or the next day or maybe the day after.
And eventually we will all live happily ever after. No pain. No fear. Only joy as we experience daily fellowship worshipping our savior, Jesus Christ.
Put your faith and hope in Him. And He will give you life. Eternal life. Today, tomorrow and the day after.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Love and laughter,
