Fall Break

Good morning!

There was no sound coming from an alarm at my house this morning for this girl! I got to sleep in! And I’m off to a leisure breakfast with my aunt in a few. We both have October birthdays so we’re celebrating!

It’s Fall Break!
I can do whatever I want to!
For three whole days!
For the first time since I was a student myself,  I am off for Fall Break.
The joys of working for a school.  🙂

What are you doing for Fall Break?

For me it will be a little fall cleaning, a little birthday celebrating, a little working at my other job, a little playing with my grandchildren maybe in a pumpkin patch, and more than likely a little football watching.

And a lot of enjoying the beautiful season of fall. Pumpkins and colorful leaves and cooler temperatures and football!

Fall was given its name from the leaves that fall from the trees during this season.

Speaking of fall, if you’ve ever watched a football game or two during the fall season, you’ve probably witnessed another kind of fall. When a player or two fall or stumble on a play. Usually at the hands of a bigger, faster or stronger opponent. 😦

Isn’t it refreshing to know that we have a God that will never let us fall no matter how many times we may stumble? He’s always there holding us by the hand.

Just like my grandchildren and three year old students have complete faith and trust in their father to be there to pick them up when they fall and protect them, we have that same reassurance in our heavenly father.

Let’s all believe like little children and stand firmly under the protection of our Father. Otherwise, we’re likely to fall for anything.

Happy Fall Y’All! 🙂

Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand.
Psalm 37:24

Love and laughter,
