After two short days of working in the field of education, I can tell you I think I’ve found my dream job. This is the very first project I completed on my new job. The birthday bulletin board! 🙂 I got to pick the color of the background paper, the border, and the placement of the icons all by myself. Now I just have to get the list of the student’s birthdays so I can write them under their appropriate month.
I can’t believe I’m actually going to get paid to do arts and crafts! There’s rolls of brightly colored paper, markers, fancy edged scissors, a paper die cut machine, and a lsminator all at my disposal! It’s a Pinterest girl’s dream come true!
I’ve persevered through many career choices over my lifetime in search of my niche. This is it. ♡ I’m left handed. Right brained. I’m all about exploring my creative side. Arts and crafts. From prepping the room for the children’s arrival to the daily hands on art projects with the children. Loving on three different groups of three year old children. Engaging with a great team of ladies. Summers off. 🙂 What more could one want in life?
I finally feel like I’m going to be able to use my spiritual gifts given to me in my workplace. The bible tells us of the different spiritual gifts we all have been empowered with by the Holy Spirit to be used for the benefit of others. Some are natural abilities while some are more of a miraculous gift that envelopes us at a given moment. These gifts vary from individual to individual. Such gifts given are exhortation, giving, leadership, mercy, prophecy, service, and teaching.
I’ve always been a much better helper than a leader. My mother was the leader. Helps and mercy have always been my strong point. I’ve always had a deep compassion for the needy and afflicted. No matter where I am, I always get involved in service. Going a little beyond the involvement than just showing up. I’m much more at ease putting others above myself.
How about you?
What are your spiritual gifts? Have you found your dream job?
I’d encourage each of you to pursue both. If they can go hand in hand, all the better. 🙂
Love what you do, and do what you love! God has the perfect place for each of us. I pray you find yours.
“Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress.”
1 Timothy 4:14-15
