Good morning!

Im not a gambler. But if I was, I would probably buy a lottery ticket. After all, the Oklahoma lottery is for a good cause.  It benefits education!  🙂

What would I do if I won the lottery?

I would first give back the tithe to God.  His 10%.  After all it’s all His to begin with. To my local church.  Next I would take care of myself and my immediate family. Make sure everyone had places to live and were provided for. Next would be a trust to cover future education expenses for the grandchildren. A must. I would probably splurge and use some of it to travel.  See the world outside of my current experiences.  Mission minded of course. In all honesty a wine tasting side trip in Tuscany would probably be in the itinerary.  I would continue my same meager lifestyle, but I would lastly invest in a trust for some sort of altruism involving children in need.  The betterment of our future generations.

If you won the lottery what would you do with the winnings?

How many of you would actually tithe 10% of it to the church?  That’s what I thought.  😦

I encourage each of us to be wise stewards of God’s money.  No matter how little or much we have been entrusted with. Use it wisely.  God is watching.  Winning the lottery would be nice,  but I’m much more concerned with winning it big with eternal riches.  How about you? 🙂

“Now my advice to you is to use ‘money’, tainted as it is, to make yourselves friends, so that when it comes to an end, they may welcome you into the houses of eternity. The man who is faithful in the little things will be faithful in the big things. So that if you are not fit to be trusted to deal with the wicked wealth of this world, who will trust you with true riches?”
Luke 16:9-11

Love and laughter,
