Good morning!
With today’s airline checked baggage costs sky rocketing higher than the altitude you fly at, you probably would prefer to carry on wherever your next travels may take you. Few passengers are seen checking their limit of large bags any more. One carry on bag seems to be the norm.
If you travel much, you learn to take just the bare essentials. You travel light. The key to efficient packing, fitting your life essentials into one bag, is to roll your clothes. They don’t wrinkle, and you can fit way more into that carry on bag. Leave your dress clothing in their dry cleaning plastic bags, and roll them as well, and they’ll arrive wrinkle free! No need for that extra garment bag.
If you were packing light what would you take with you? What bare essentials would you not leave home without?
I would make sure I packed my toothbrush, spare underwear, a change of clothing, and my cell phone. My cell phone contains my YouVersion bible app, my blog, and priceless contact numbers and photos of loved ones dear to me. That’s it for me. 🙂
You don’t have to pack anything to go with Christ. His burden is light. You don’t have to impress Him with Louis Vuitton luggage.
“For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:30
Love and laughter,
Sandy
